"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", a statement which connotes that beauty is something subjective. Why is there a commonality among people of distinguishing something beautiful to something not? I believe, we only know beauty when it comes.

What is Beauty?
Only recently, I have realized that the definition of beauty extends far beyond to what we say pleasing and giving satisfaction to humans. Had it not been our professor in Humanities intrigued us with the same question and followed it up by another question, making it a lot more difficult to answer. I think, after some reflections and reading, I have a clearer notion to what beauty is.
